NoViolation is a product and service offered by J3 Foundry, LLC (“J3 Foundry,” “NoViolation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We value your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account details (email, username, password if applicable)
  • Videos or other files you upload for analysis
  • Billing details handled by our payment processors (we do not store full card numbers)

b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device & log data (IP address, device type, operating system, browser, timestamps, referral URLs)
  • Usage data (features used, scans completed, errors, performance metrics)
  • Analytics data via trusted third-party providers

c. Information from Third Parties

  • Account data if you log in through a third-party (e.g., Google, TikTok)
  • Transaction info from payment processors such as Stripe

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information to:

  • Provide and improve NoViolation’s scan and violation-detection services
  • Analyze uploaded content to identify potential violations
  • Personalize your experience and remember settings
  • Send service updates, support responses, or promotional offers (you may opt out of marketing)
  • Perform research, testing, troubleshooting, and security reviews
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and meet legal obligations

3. Sharing Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share information:

  • With service providers (hosting, storage, analytics, payments) bound by confidentiality agreements
  • To comply with law, regulation, or valid legal request
  • If our business is merged, acquired, or sold
  • With your consent or as described under “Content Usage & Marketing”

4. Content Usage & Marketing

  • By default, videos and results you upload may be used for service improvement, research, and promotional purposes.
  • You may opt out anytime by emailing info@noviolation.ai.
  • Opting out doesn’t affect your ability to use NoViolation.
  • Revocation applies only going forward; lawful prior uses are not undone.

5. Data Retention

  • Uploaded content is retained only as long as necessary to deliver services and for up to 30 days after account closure for compliance or fraud-prevention.
  • If used for marketing or research (per Section 4), data may be stored in anonymized form.
  • Account and billing records are kept as required by law.
  • You may request account deletion by contacting info@noviolation.ai.

6. Data Security

We safeguard your data using:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with restricted access
  • Routine monitoring, audits, and vulnerability testing

No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data
  • Obtain a copy of your information
  • Restrict or object to certain processing

We currently store and process all user data in the United States and do not transfer personal data across borders.

10. Third-Party Services

  • We use OpenAI’s large language models to help analyze content.
  • When you pay, payment details are handled by Stripe or similar providers, subject to their privacy terms.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect service or legal changes. Material updates will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
